I provide therapy for young children, children, teens, and young adults who are navigating emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. Many parents come to me feeling worried or unsure how to help their child, and I create a safe, supportive space where both children and families feel understood and empowered. Drawing from attachment theory, psychodynamic principles, and evidence-based practices, I work to understand what lies beneath each child’s struggles and address those needs in a thoughtful, individualized way.
I use art, play, and talk therapy to build on each child’s strengths and interests, helping them develop coping skills, improve communication, and gain confidence. Offering individual, parent-child, family, and group therapy, I collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals. I aim to relieve parents’ worry and stress by providing guidance, advocacy, and strategies that help children thrive in everyday life.
I hold a master’s degree in art therapy from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling and am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I have worked in outpatient and nature-based mental health settings, drawing on my background in early childhood education and history to understand each child in the context of their family and environment. My approach is flexible, warm, and individualized, and I love sharing in the relief and joy parents experience as their child grows, develops, and succeeds.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy gardening, bookbinding, creating art, and spending time with family and friends.
