I provide therapy for children and teens experiencing emotional and social challenges at home, school, or extracurriculars. Many parents reach out feeling worried, overwhelmed, or unsure how to help their child, noticing changes in anxiety, sadness, impulsivity, anger, or social connections. I understand how deeply a child’s struggles can impact the whole family, and I am committed to relieving that concern while helping your child build the confidence, skills, and resilience they need to thrive.
I build trust and safety with both children and parents, creating individualized treatment plans that focus on emotional expression, communication, coping skills, and social connection. Using art, play, and talk therapy, I tailor each session to your child’s unique strengths and interests, making therapy engaging, supportive, and meaningful.
With over 15 years of experience as an early childhood teacher, caregiver, and therapist, I have worked with children from infancy through young adulthood. I provide individual and group therapy for youth with Autism, ADHD, Learning or Language Differences, and Intellectual Disabilities, emphasizing sensory-sensitive care, social connection, and validation of each child’s authentic self. I also support children and teens—neurodivergent or neurotypical—navigating anxiety, depression, social isolation, family conflict, grief, or identity exploration. My approach integrates Art Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, and Social Skills Training to create a space of compassion, play, and safety for every child and family.
I partner closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance, advocacy, and practical strategies to support growth at home and in daily life. It brings me deep joy to witness children gain confidence, build skills, and navigate challenges successfully—and to see the relief and hope parents feel as they watch their child begin to flourish. I truly believe that neurodivergent youth—and the families who love them—enrich our world and make it a better, more compassionate place.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to cook, go on adventures in nature, travel to new places and engage in all types of creative means- art, music and dancing! There is never a dull moment at my home with my two young daughters and two fur babies, Rubi, the pitbull, and Mango, the big orange tabby.
