I am a creative, compassionate, and trauma-informed clinician with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families facing complex challenges. Many parents come to therapy feeling worried, overwhelmed, or unsure how to help their child, and I work to relieve that concern while helping young people reconnect with their strengths, resilience, and sense of worth. My goal is to help children heal from adversity, build self-compassion, and develop the skills they need to thrive at home, at school, and in their relationships.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Temple University and my undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. My background in the arts continues to shape my therapeutic work, allowing me to incorporate creative expression, art, and play into the healing process. I also draw from specialized trauma-informed approaches, including Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT), and the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework.
Over the years, I have worked in schools, counseling centers, and victim services, supporting families through traumatic loss, acute crises, and complex trauma. My experience as a family-based clinician strengthened my skills in family systems work and taught me the importance of partnering closely with parents and caregivers. I strive to create a warm, safe, and collaborative environment where children and families feel understood, supported, and empowered—and where parents can feel relief and hope as they watch their child grow, heal, and flourish.
Outside of therapy I love to cook and eat, garden, take nature walks, write, make art, take photos, and spend time with my loved ones. I’m also a huge a fan of spontaneous dance parties and I love to chill anywhere close to a large body of water.
