I am a bilingual (English–Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over fifteen years of experience supporting children, teens, and families across the United States and Mexico. My background includes community mental health, school-based services, outpatient work, and intensive in-home therapy. My early work in Montessori-based early childhood education continues to shape how I understand child development, relationships, and the environments where children grow.

I provide therapy for children and teens with a warm, relational approach. As a trained family therapist, I consider how each child is influenced by the relationships and systems around them. My work is attachment-focused and trauma-informed, drawing from a range of approaches tailored to each child and family. I aim to help children feel safe, understood, and connected, while easing the worry parents often feel about their child’s struggles.

I am especially passionate about Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children ages 3–7, helping families navigate tantrums, defiance, aggression, and attention-seeking behaviors. PCIT strengthens parent–child bonds, builds parenting confidence, and supports children with ADHD, anxiety, low frustration tolerance, and social skills challenges. I also support children who have experienced trauma, using TF-CBT, creative arts, and play-based interventions to foster healing and resilience.

My family therapy work is grounded in ESFT and IICAPS, helping families strengthen connections, improve communication, and create supportive ways of interacting that promote attachment and emotional safety. I partner closely with parents, sharing in the relief and hope that comes from seeing their child grow, develop confidence, and thrive.

Outside of my clinical work, I relish soaking in time with loved ones. I enjoy taking long walks in nature, dancing Latin rhythms, and spending time near the water.
